Back to school by Avalore on FlickrMy friend Lisa at Anali’s First Amendment recently asked me if I had any advice to share with students starting or returning to law school this fall. Here is a taste of one of my three tips:

Stay in your own lane. The other day I saw a panicked tweet from a law school *applicant* worried she was going to have to somehow become super-competitive in order to succeed in law school. I told her to just worry about what she is doing and not what everyone else is doing (or wants you to believe they’re doing). It’s so important to establish your own study habits and schedule; do what works for you, period.

You can read the rest of my tips as well as advice from other legal professionals at Anali’s First Amendment in her Back to School series.
